Taking Hospital Food to a Higher Level!

The Food & Nutrition Department is proud and delighted to offer Mercy Medical Center's patients, state-of-the-art, Room Service Dining Cuisine!

Unlike conventional hospital food service, in which selections must be made a day in advance and eaten at fixed meal times, Mercy's new system empowers most patients to order and consume meals of their choice at the time they so desire. And if they desire, family members may also place their loved ones meal requests from home.

After the patient's physician has ordered a diet is accord with medical needs, the patient can simply dial the extension FOOD (3663) to place Room Service Orders.

Meal requests are freshly prepared and delivered to the patient's bedside, by a Food Services Host, within 45 minutes.

Our menu includes a broad array of selections capable of meeting a multitude of dietary needs. And our Call Center staff is specifically trained to ensure that the food selected is permitted on the diet that the patient's physician has ordered.

Menus not only facilitate your meal choice, but also serve as a teaching tool to assist patients in understanding their diet needs.

Comparable to any fine dining establishment, all of our menu offerings are prepared fresh to order.

Breakfast items may be ordered at any time throughout the day, from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Lunch and dinner selections are served from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
