Nephrology |
|
The division of Nephrology at Mercy Medical Center provides state-of-the-art inpatient and outpatient services for patients with renal and electrolyte disorders. The department offers services in the areas of hypertension, chronic kidney disease, dialysis, and renal diseases. Physicians play a critical role in designing treatment plans, while nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nutritionists, and educators round out the health management team. By learning about Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) from the health management team and carefully following its treatment plan, patients may be able to slow the progression of their CKD. |
