For more than eight decades, Maternity Services have had a special role at Mercy Medical Center. Since its founding in 1913, and during the post-war “Baby Boom” era, Mercy was among the top hospitals in the country in the number of births. This tradition continues today in our newly renovated Maternity wing and LDR (Labor, Delivery, Recovery) Rooms, which create a comfortable home-like setting, and offers the convenience of wireless (Wi-FiTM) internet access. Our Mother/Baby Care Program provides for mother and child to receive their care from the same nurse.
