Acute Psychiatry Service Mercy Medical Center offers 24-hour service for adult patients in psychiatric crisis. Anxiety. Depression. Manic Depression. Eating Disorders. Panic. Schizophrenia. Substance Abuse. Thoughts of Suicide. If you, a family member, or friend are suffering from one or more of these, or from another psychiatric illness, or if you suspect your patient is, please contact Mercy Medical Center. We provide urgent and emergent diagnostic evaluations, crisis management, and referral to a treatment program tailored to the individual. Crisis ServiceCaring, seasoned, clinical staff is available to speak to you when you or your family member is experiencing a psychiatric or emotional emergency. Our staff will assess your situation and provide information and referral about Behavioral Health Services and/or other community resources that will help you during this time. Staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Central Intake ServiceCentral Intake provides individuals with timely, thorough psychosocial evaluations by licensed clinicians for admissions into several Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Outpatient Programs. Appointments can be scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Evening appointments are also available. Mercy New HopeNew Hope provides 24-hour care, 7 days a week for individuals in need of non-medical detox and/or assistance with chemical dependency problems. Our attending psychiatrist and clinicians are committed to finding the least restrictive environment in which patients may be safely and effectively treated. |
